Brenda Richie Lane

Brenda Richie Lane passed away peacefully on February 22, 2022.  She went to be with the Lord Jesus Chirst at the age of 68 years.  Brenda was born in Dallas, TX on July 7, 1953 to Pastor Jimmie and Florence Richie.  She graduated from Spruce High School in 1971.  Brenda did work as a receptionist but was mostly a caretaker of her family.  Raising her kids and, especially, her grandkids, who knew her as “Memaw”, was the joy of her life.  She loved listening to Gospel music and hymns.  Brenda would spend time crafting.  She has been a long time member of the Victory Baptist Church in Scurry.  Her parents, Jimmie and Florence, step-mother Margie Richie and sister Theresa Smith preceded her in death.  Brenda is lovingly remembered by her children: Michael Denbow and wife Christina, Brandi Boner and husband Joe, Karilyn Lane and Ashton Poarch; grandchildren: Nicole, Christin, Brittany and husband Austin, Tanner and fiancé Logan, Holli, Aidan, Landon, Noah, Cooper and Preston; great grandchild Grant; brothers: James Richie and Ricky Richie and several family and friends who will miss her dearly.  The family would like to give a special thanks to Sandra Caffey Lawrence for her lifelong friendship and support to Brenda.
