Carolyn Sue Kidd

Carolyn Sue Kidd, beloved relative and friend, was born on September 30, 1951, in Kaufman, Texas. She pursued a career as an Office Cashier for Brookshire’s Grocery Store in Kaufman, where she dedicated many years to serving her community with kindness and warmth. Carolyn had a remarkable ability to make her customers smile, embodying a spirit of generosity and a great sense of humor that left a lasting impression with everyone she met.

Carolyn lived her life simply and honestly seizing every moment to enjoy the beauty around her. Her personality was characterized by a welcoming nature, always making others feel at ease. She delighted in helping those in need and was a source of support for family and friends alike.

On December 26, 2024, Carolyn peacefully departed this world in Corsicana, Texas. She joins her cherished family members who have passed on; her husband, Bobby Kidd, her son, John Whatley; her loving parents, Lee Myers Birdsong and James Myers, and grandparents, Sam and Myrtis Stroman.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness, remembered fondly by her surviving family, including her aunt, Winnie Murrell, uncle Troy and Cathy Stroman, cousins Ken and Judy Green, and Gene and Judy Stroman, and numerous other family members.

Carolyn Kidd is dearly missed by all who knew and loved her, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched throughout her life.
