Charles David Daniel, 85, of Kaufman, Texas passed away in Dallas, Texas on March 17, 2019. Charles was born on June 29, 1933 in Dallas, Texas to Floyd and Mary Daniel. He spent his youth in East Texas before attending and graduating from Wilmer Hutchins Schools. Charles then went on to proudly serve in the United States Army. After he left the army, he attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas. Charles married his loving wife, Naomi on October 5, 1958 at Lambeth United Methodist Church in Dallas. He was a kind man who greatly loved his family and friends. He had many hobbies and interests including: reading, woodworking, boating, many years of square dancing, and cooking. He enjoyed cooking steaks on Thursday nights at the Feed Store, a restaurant on the Kaufman Square, which he owned with his wife Naomi. He was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church of Kaufman. Charles spent his career working as a Data Processing Manager for National Cash Register, and later, Home Interiors and Gifts, Inc. He retired from Home Interiors in 1997, after 20 years of service. Charles is survived by his wife of 60 years, Naomi of Kaufman, Daughters: Patricia Gay Daniel of Kaufman, Stacy Roberts and husband Damion of Kaufman, Sadon Elizondo and husband Cesar of McKinney, Sister: JoAnn Cody of Ennis, Grandchildren: Sophia and Christian. Also, many nieces, nephews, and close friends. Charles was preceded in death by his Parents: Floyd Lee Daniel Sr., and his mother Mary Cassie Karr Daniel, Brother: Floyd Lee Daniel Jr.
