Cornelio Ortiz Gomez

Cornelio Ortiz Gomez, 52, of Kaufman, TX passed away on July 14, 2024, in Dallas, TX. Cornelio was born on April 22, 1972, to Vicente Ortiz Gonzales and Consuelo Gomez Bucio in Michoacan, Mexico. Growing up in Mexico he moved to Texas in 1992 and settled in Kaufman in 2005. On March 28, 1996, he married Alma Ortiz in Rockwall and they have spent a loving 28 years together. Ever since he moved to Texas, he has worked in construction setting concrete. Cornelio enjoyed fishing but his most precious time was spent with his family. He was a beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather and Brother. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vicente and Consuelo, and siblings: Martin Ortiz and Enrique Ortiz. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Alma, children: Stephanie, Samantha, Consuelo, Michelle and Alma V.; grandchildren: Nathan, Noah, Scarlett, Joshua, Violette, Isaiah, Fabian and Pedro; siblings: Vicente Ortiz, Jose Isabel, Ramon Ortiz, Maria Elena Ortiz, Maria Luisa Ortiz, Faustino Ortiz and Adela Ortiz; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
