Debra Gail Durkin

Debra Gail Durkin, 66, of Kaufman, TX passed away on November 22, 2022, in Dallas, TX.  Debra was born on December 12, 1955, to Billy and Mary Ainsworth in Oklahoma City, OK.  Born in Oklahoma she was raised in Grand Prairie, TX where she graduated from Grand Prairie High School in 1974.  Debra married Stephen Durkin on February 10, 1994, in Nashville, Tennessee, and had spent 30 wonderful years together.  She worked as the chief executive officer for Durkin’s Chimney Services which they owned together.  She was also proud of going back to school and getting her nursing degree and the 5 years she spent as a nurse.  Debra was committed to her rescue animals: cats, dogs, horses and llamas.  She enjoyed her time raising and caring for them.  She also, spent time with arts and crafts, mainly glass staining where she set up a shop at First Monday in Canton.  Debra loved her family and her most precious time was spent with them.  She is a beloved Daughter, Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Sister.  Her mom, Mary and sister Patti Jan Langston preceded her in death. Those left to cherish her memory are husband Stephen,  father Billy, son Dennis Ryan McCabe, grandchildren: Ryan Zane McCabe, Paytyn Lynn McCabe and Jordan James Davis; brother Terry Wayne Ainsworth and wife Brenda, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.
