Donald Francis Lucas

Donald Francis Lucas, 81, of Terrell, TX passed away on March 16, 2022.  Donald was born on June 9, 1940, to Charles Allen and Ruth Lucas in Georgetown, OH.  He grew up in Ohio before moving to Colorado in 1972 and then to the Dallas area in 1976.  Donald worked as a salesman for over 30 years before he retired.  He worked for Dale Tiffany selling decorative accessories for homes.  Donald was an avid golfer and would enjoy playing the slot machines.  When he couldn’t go to the slots he would play on his computer at home.  He would also spend time playing words with friends.  He loved his family, and his most loved time was spent with his daughter and granddaughter.  He was a beloved Father and Grandfather.  His parents and 11 siblings preceded him in death.  Those left to cherish his memory are daughter Denise Brewer and husband Billy, son Darrin Lucas and wife Bobbi Jo, grandchildren Rebecca and Garrett Singley, numerous nieces, nephews and friends who will miss him dearly.  The family would like to extend a special thanks to all his precious caregivers who loved him as much as we did.
