Faith Elizabeth Sickels

Faith Elizabeth Sickels, a beloved soul who graced this earth with her presence, departed from our family on July 16, 2024. Born on April 28, 1932, in New York State, Faith's journey led her to touch the lives of many with kindness and compassion.

Faith spent several years at Garland Memorial Hospital as a dedicated medical clerk, where her nurturing nature and unwavering dedication left a lasting impact on all with whom she came in contact. Her altruistic spirit extended beyond the hospital walls as she selflessly volunteered at the gift shop at Texas Health in Kaufman.

Lovingly described as a bit of a "pistol," Faith's lively personality brought joy to all who knew her. Her mantra of putting others before herself exemplified her genuine and warm-hearted character. She cherished her family above all else, finding solace and strength in their love.

Among Faith's proudest accomplishments was the time spent traveling the United States with her loving husband, Albert Sickels. Together, they embarked on countless adventures, creating cherished memories that will be held dear for generations to come.

Faith is reunited in eternal peace with Conrad Roland Nelson, her first husband; her adoring second husband, Albert Sickels; and her son, Gary Nelson.

In the hearts of those who will forever treasure her legacy are her daughters: Pam Cantu (spouse – Edward Rene), Karen Webb, Lou Ann White (spouse – Scott); and Gary’s spouse, Therese, along with ten (10) grandchildren, and twelve (12) great-grandchildren, and three (3) great, grandpups. Faith's love and warmth will continue to resonate within each of their souls as they navigate life's journey without her physical presence.

As you have moved to your eternal home, we will remember the love you shared so freely and the lives you touched with grace. May your spirit soar among the stars, watching over those you held dear with an everlasting glow of affection and guidance. We will see you again and look forward to spending eternity with you.
