"Fast Eddie" Rowbothan

“Fast Eddie” Rowbothan, age 80, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2023, at his residence in Kaufman, Texas.

Eddie was born on October 11, 1942, in Port Huron, Michigan, to his parents, the late Calvin Rowbothan and the late Irene Smith. He was married to his wife of 59 years, Judy Springfield, on January 25, 1964, in Garland, Texas.  Eddie was a carpenter for many years.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife of 59 years, Judy; sons, Edward and Randall David Rowbothan of Kaufman, and Tony Ray Rowbothan (Kelly) of Garland; brothers, Calvin (Judy), Tim (Dee), and Tom (Cheryl) Rowbothan of Mayville, Michigan, Jerry (Laura) of Vasser, Michigan, and Jeff (Lauri) of Silverwood, Michigan; sisters, Cindy Mardlin and Sandy Cunningham.  Four grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins also remain.

Private family services will be held in the near future.
