Glorious Earline Beebe Rider, a beloved matriarch and cherished friend to many, peacefully departed this life on December 22, 2024, in Gilmer, Texas, at the age of 96. Born on August 1, 1928, in the picturesque town of Natchitoches, Louisiana, she spent her days enveloped in warmth, kindness, and the love of her family and community.

Earline was a devoted homemaker whose nurturing spirit was felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her. For 25 years, she dedicated her time to volunteering at the local hospital, embodying compassion and selflessness. Her gentle personality and welcoming demeanor made her a comforting presence, as she had a remarkable gift for putting others at ease.

An enthusiastic family member, Earline found unmeasurable joy in the company of her loved ones. She cherished the moments spent with her sons, Gary and Jerry Rider, and her daughter, Debbie White. Earline’s legacy lives on through her grandsons Brian Rider, Christian Rider, Brandon Rider, Mitchell Rider, Nathan Rider, Joseph White and Alek White-Hach, along with several great-grandchildren and great, great-grandchildren who will forever remember her unwavering love, support, and contagious laughter.

Though Earline's journey has transitioned into the realms beyond, she leaves behind a profound impact on those she touched with her generosity and warmth. She is now reunited with her loving husband, Harry Rider; her daughter Gracetta Layl; grandson Brett Layl; her sister, Helen Garrison; and her parents, Aius and Etta (Beebe) Edwards. Their spirits embrace her as she takes her place among them.

Join us in celebrating the beautiful life of Glorious Earline Beebe Rider. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Parker - Ashworth Funeral Home in Kaufman, Texas. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM, leading to her final resting place at Kaufman Cemetery at 4:00 PM.
