Ina Mae Wood

Ina Mae Wood, 94, of Kaufman, TX went to be with the Lord on January 28, 2021. Ina was born on January 7, 1927 to Emmett and Lura Catlin in Streetman, TX. She spent her time taking care of her family and especially enjoyed the time with her grandkids. She loved the church and reading her bible. Ina also enjoyed cooking meals, baking desserts and gardening in her flower beds. Her parents, husband, son Weldon Wood, great grandchildren: Eian Windham, Liam Wilson and Micah Atkins and siblings: Edward E. Catlin, Daniel Catlin, Godfrey Cate Catlin and Velda Herzog preceded her in death. Those left to cherish her memory are sons: Vance Wood of Kaufman, TX and Dennis Wood and wife Claire of Athens, TX; grandchildren: Becky Buchanan and husband Clint, Mike Atkins and wife Monica, Charles Wood and husband Ben Gomez, Selena Wilson and husband Chris, Kelsey Richardson, Catherine Gazda and husband Bryan, Theresa Slutsky and husband Barney, Dennis Wood III and wife Lori, Brian Kinder and wife Malaye, Stephanie Morris and husband John and Jennifer Hobbs and husband Lee; great grandchildren: Lyndsey Windham, Hunter Barnhart, Micah Gazda, Ella Gazda, Dennis Wood IV, Dallas Wood, Kailey Richardson, Steven Mason Richardson, Gavin Wilson, Cael Wilson, Mark Buchanan, Meagan Buchanan, Gabi Atkins and Mazzy Atkins; great great grandchild Ella Buchanan; numerous extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.
