Jack Alan Matheny

Jack Alan Matheny, 64, of Scurry, TX passed away on July 31, 2021 at home.  Jack was born on June 23, 1957 to Terry and Evelyn Matheny in Oregon, OH.  After Jack graduated high school, he went to the Air Force in June of 1975.  He worked for AT&T for 36 years as a technical manager in Dallas, TX.  Jack married Denise Guffey on September 19, 1987 in Richardson and they spent a loving 33 years together.  He loved spending time with his family.  His parents, Terry and Evelyn, grandparents and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins preceded him in death.  Those left to cherish his memory are wife Denise, son Aaron Jesse Matheny, daughter Madison Ashley Rawlinson and husband Jacob, granddaughter Zoey Rawlinson, grandson Logan Rawlinson, sisters Sherri Sheffler and husband Jim and Jill Matheny, brother Chris Matheny and wife Deb, numerous nieces, extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.  Everyone is invited to Jake and Madison Rawlinson's house afterwards at 1624 Nottingham Dr. Kaufman, TX 75142.
