James Edward Bolton

James Edward Bolton, age 67, died Tuesday, February 21, 2023, in Kaufman, Texas, following an extended illness.

James was born on March 16, 1955, in Dallas, Texas, to the late Edward Dwain Bolton and the late Martha Jane Hull.

He was a mechanic for most of his working life. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan; and as his family stated that he loved horses, hunting, and his beloved dog, Hunter.

Those left to cherish his memories are daughter, Ashley Bolton (spouse – Courtney) of Crandall; son, Dwain Bolton of Forney; daughters Jennifer Pinson (spouse – Curtis) of Terrell, and Alisha Pelham (spouse – Nate) of Jacobia. James is also survived by his brother, Robert Bolton (spouse – Donna) of Garland; sisters, Beverly Bolton of Pasadena, and Martha Chambers (spouse – Scott) of Lancaster. Eight  grandchildren also remain.

Friends are cordially invited to gather with the family to share remembrances of James at the Parker-Ashworth Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, February 27, 2023, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. A celebration of life will be at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at 2:30 pm at Edgewood Cemetery in Lancaster, Texas.
