James Robert Dugan, 68, of Mineola, TX passed away on June 29, 2020 at home. James was born on July 2, 1951 to David and Doris Dugan in Forney, TX. He went to school for the most part in Dallas ISD. After high school, he went to the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and received training to be an electrician. James Worked as an electrician for 50 years. On June 6, 1970 he married Mary Clendennen Dugan in Austin, TX, and they just celebrated 50 loving years together. He spent time hunting, fishing and camping. Mary and him would take their RV and set up camp. What he enjoyed the most was spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. James was a beloved son, husband, father, grandfather and brother. His father David, sister Diane Jernigan and grandchild Zachary Ledbetter preceded him in death. Those left to cherish his memory are mother Doris, wife Mary, son James Michael Dugan and wife Bronnie of Wills Point, TX, daughter Jennifer Lynn Dugan of Tyler, TX, grandchildren: Cody Ledbetter, Christian Killgo, James Delano (JD) Dugan and Dash Dugan; brother Christopher Dugan and wife Karla of Crandall, TX, sisters: Karen Dugan of Wills Point, TX and Catherine Jenkins of Brendan, TX; numerous extended family and friends who will miss him dearly. The family has requested that you make a donation to a charity of your choice in lieu of flowers.
