James Lloyd Gaddis, Sr.

James Lloyd Gaddis, Sr., 75, of Trinidad, TX went to be with the Lord on October 31, 2022.  James was born on September 3, 1947, to Lonnie and Oleta Gaddis in Dallas, TX.  He moved to Crowell while in high school and graduated from Crowell High School.  James moved back home in 1967 and for most of his time was a carpenter by trade.  He married Sharon Kay Gaddis on May 24, 1969, and they have spent a loving 53 years together.  James enjoyed fishing, playing golf, hunting and racing cars.  He was a member of the Cottonwood Baptist Church for many years.  James was a beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather and Brother.  He was preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter Katelynn Gaddis.  Those left to cherish his memory are wife, Sharon; children: James Lloyd Gaddis, Jr. and wife Lucy and Shelly Gaddis Storey and husband Caleb; grandchildren: Dawnya Jenkins and fiancée Houston, Brittney Shelton, Jacob Gaddis and fiancée Kaydee and Jayce Storey; great grandchildren: Skylar Shelton, Antony Shelton, Canyon Shelton and Kayson Dean Gaddis; siblings Lonnie Lee Gaddis, Jr. and wife Janet and Mark Dale Gaddis and wife Patti; numerous extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
