Jimmy Ray Case, a devoted cattle rancher and glazer, was born on August 24, 1956, in Houston, Texas. He departed this world on January 6, 2025, leaving behind a legacy characterized by his love for family and an enduring passion for the outdoors. Jimmy's life was marked by his unwavering faith and a deep commitment to his loved ones. Often, he reminded his family with heartfelt words: "I pray, I believe, I have faith and I know where I am going."

Throughout his life, Jimmy demonstrated an unwavering commitment to his loved ones, particularly his grandchildren. He took great joy in teaching them about farming, sharing not only knowledge but also the values of hard work and dedication. His love for family was evident in every aspect of his life, and he leaves behind a lasting impact on those he cherished.

Jimmy is survived by his beloved wife, Debbie Case, and their daughter, Jamie Spears, along with her husband, Michael. He is also survived by his son, Jason Case, and stepchildren: Jason Ream and wife Missy, Kristy Clark and husband Michael, and Angie Case. In addition, he treasured moments spent with his beloved mother-in-law, Sandra Metcalf, and his brother, David Case. His legacy continues through his grandchildren: Caitlin Case, Chasity Case, Scott Clark, Courtney Clark, Austin Ream, Hayden Ream, Jase Ream, Presley Spears, and Jacob Spears, along with numerous nieces and nephews who adored him.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Ella Mae and Bobby Caldwell and Luther Case, and a host of siblings and relatives whom he missed dearly. He was welcomed into eternity by his sisters: Margie Allen, Terrie Chapin, Alice Watson, and Rita Hutton; his brothers: Billy Case, Gerald Case, Freddie Case, Buddy Case, Johnny Case, and Danny Case; as well as his nephews: Keith Chapin, Steven Willett, and David Wayne Allen; his nieces: Wanda Toland, Rhonda Hutton, and Debbie Hutton; and his father-in-law, Tommy Metcalf. 

A visitation will be held in his honor on January 11, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Parker - Ashworth Funeral Home, located at 22175 S Washington Kaufman, TX 75142. Following the visitation, a funeral service will take place from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, with a graveside service at Elmo Cemetery, located at 11750 Co Rd 352 in Terrell, TX at 12:45 PM.

Jimmy Ray Case will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege to know him. His spirit will live on through the countless memories shared with family and friends.
