Jimmy Wayne Hudson

Jimmy Wayne Hudson, 84, of Mesquite, TX passed away on September 9, 2021. Jimmy was born on May 2, 1937 to J.W. and Rosa Hudson in Cleburne, TX. Jimmy married Dorothy Jean Hudson on July 5, 1973 and they have been together for a loving 48 years. He worked as a truck driver when he was 17 to 65 years old. He enjoyed fishing, listening to real country music and spending time in his garage working with his hands building and fixing things. His parents, J.W. and Rosa, sons: Samuel Fields and David Hudson; and siblings: Juanita Beckham, Donnie Hudson and Jay Hudson preceded him in death. Those left to cherish his memory are wife Dorothy, daughters: Vickie Rice and husband Darrell, Susan Kendall and husband Bob, Kelli Flowers and husband Buddy, Elizabeth Moyer and Brenda Hudson Barr; grandchildren: Brandi, Blake, Logan, Nicholas, Zachary, Jennifer, Brandon, Curtis, Colby, Casey, Tyler and Chapel; great grandchildren: Astoria, Payton and Wyatt; numerous extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
