Johnie Ray Burns, Jr.

Johnie Ray Burns, Jr. peacefully passed away and into the arms of Jesus February 7, 2022 at his Kaufman home.  He was born January 9, 1971 in Ennis to Johnie Burns, Sr. and Edna Garner Burns.  They built a house on the family farm in Palmer.  He was schooled in Palmer and graduated from Ennis High.  He had a passion for Fords, especially Mustangs.  Johnie worked at the Ford house for years as a master tech.  He worked as a firearm certified security guard who was lucky to have worked on many concerts by big named entertainers.  Through the years Johnie battled several health issues.  He shared a real joy with son Trey in Motor Cross Racing.  He was a computer whiz and also enjoyed gaming.  Johnie was preceded by his beloved father Johnie Burns, Sr.  Survivors include his loving mother Edna Garner Burns and his son Johnie Burns III, a large family of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  He will be dearly missed.
