Jonathan Hoyt Fox

Jonathan Hoyt Fox passed away at his home in Ola on August 11, 2024 after a brief illness.  He was 62 years old.  Jonathan grew up on the family farm in Ola.  He graduated from Kaufman High School in 1980.

For more than a decade, Jonathan worked for ProBox in Ola.  In recent months, he delivered products manufactured there to outdoor sports stores throughout Texas.

He always enjoyed having something to do.  He was most relaxed when he was moving, going and doing.  He loved animals -- his dog Briscoe when he was a child, his Pug (named Pugsley) as an adult, along with an endless list of stray dogs which just showed up and found a home and a friend in Jonathan.  More recently, he was taking care of eight ducks which he would feed and talk to every day.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Phyllis Fox.  He is survived by his brother Joel Fox of Ola, one aunt and numerous cousins, and a host of friends.

Memorial donations may be given to the Fox Cemetery, the Ola Church of Christ, or an organization of your choosing.
