Josh was born in Athens, Texas. He loved his country roots and all the trees of East Texas. Josh grew up in Mesquite, Texas and graduated from North Mesquite High School in 1990. He went in to obtain an associate degree in Auto Mechanics from Brookhaven College. Josh spent most of his career as an ASE certified GMC mechanic. Although he worked at a few different dealerships, most of his career was spent at Reliable Chevrolet in Richardson, Texas where his co-workers there were truly like brothers to him. He was currently working for UPS as a fleet mechanic.
Josh had a love and passion for motorcycles and riding. From riding dirt bikes to sport bikes or enduro racing. He loved life behind his bars. Josh would ride by pulling wheelies to scare his mom and she would want to wring his neck. Of course, he had his signature grin from ear to ear! He finally found peace in a Harley Bagger. He could always find himself with a little wind in his face. Josh had an old soul and never met a stranger. He would tell you his greatest accomplishment was raising his two children. Nothing made him as proud as seeing their strength and character development and grow that same passion for life. Dakota was his best friend and mini me and Mariisa could turn him into a teddy bear.
Eventually Josh met Karla and they married Oct. 28, 2017. They had many adventures and loved to travel together and with their many friends. They have a love story of fairytales. Josh lived ever day like it could be his last. He would always say I love you never-ending. The legacy he leaves behind is certainly never-ending.
Josh is survived by his wife Karla Carson. Mother Kurthene Puckett and stepfather Charles Puckett. His father Gary Carson and wife Nancy. Brother Hayden Carson, sisters Rachel Thornton and Lynsey Puckett. His children Dakota Carson and Mariisa Carson. Stepchildren Justin Smith, Matthew Smith, and Kayla Smith and step-granddaughter Ali Smith, as well as nieces and nephews he loved dearly.
Josh is proceeded in death by his grandparents who welcomed him home, KF and Gladys Struckmeyer and Nello and Mildred Carson.
