Juanita Faye Jenkins

Juanita Faye Jenkins, born on December 2, 1935, in Dallas, Texas, and a cherished resident of Scurry, departed this world on March 18, 2025, in Terrell, Texas. A loving mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, Juanita's life was a testament to strength, kindness, and dedication.

From the very beginning, Juanita was known for her kind and welcoming nature, always making others feel at ease in her presence. She poured her heart into raising her children Rhonda Laster, Sharon Birmingham, David Jenkins, and Ronnie Jenkins, Jr.- instilling in them a strong work ethic and a sense of character that would guide them throughout their lives. Her children and her family were the center of her universe, and her love for them was immeasurable.

Juanita found immense joy in nurturing her garden, reveling in "digging in the dirt," where she planted vibrant flowers and nourishing vegetables with care. Her determination ensured that her planting beds were always immaculate, with never a weed in sight, mirroring her approach to life: diligent and full of love.

For sixty-six wonderful years, she shared her life with her husband, Ronald, creating countless memories and adventures together. They loved going camping and fishing, often relishing the tranquility of nature side by side. These moments encapsulated the spirit of a woman who cherished family, tradition, and the simple joys of life.

Juanita's legacy extends beyond her immediate family to her sister, Norma Hensley, who will carry her love and lessons in their hearts. Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive.

She joins her beloved family members in eternal rest: her father Chester Williams, her mother Emma (Masier) Williams, her daughter Linda Ramer, and her siblings Betty Jenkins and Horace Williams.

Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by the kindness of Juanita are invited to celebrate her life with a visitation on Friday, March 21, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Parker - Ashworth Funeral Home in Kaufman. A graveside service to honor her memory will take place on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Mount Olive Cemetery in Scurry, TX, at 10:00 AM.
