Kellan Warren, age 81 went to be with his Lord on March 31, 2019 after a long struggle with heart problems. Kellan was born in Dallas, Texas on July 26, 1937. He had been a resident of Kemp, Texas most of his life. He worked in construction most of his working career. After retiring he became a Pastor and started working for the Lord. Kellan built Lively Baptist Church in Lively, Texas and preached many sermons to save souls for the Lord over seventeen years, retiring in 2002. He loved to play guitar and sing praises to the Lord every Sunday before he brought the Lord’s message. Kellan was a very simple man and enjoyed fishing and hunting. Kellan was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Veda Mask Warren of Kleburg, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Pat of 52 years; Son Tony and wife Melissa of Dallas, Texas; Daughters: Laura Houston and husband Bailey of Cayuga, Texas and Veda Lynn Bowen; Five Grandchildren, three great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; Brother: Bobby Warren and wife Janice of Combine, Texas; Sisters: Phyllis Warren of Kaufman, Texas and Gail Taylor and husband Mike of Sherman, Texas; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Memorial Services will be held April 15th @ 10:AM at Parker -Ashworth Funeral Home in Kaufman, Texas.
