Lela Mae McClanahan

Lela Mae (Stewart) McClanahan was born in Whitesboro, Texas on August 17, 1929 to Lula Ann and William Stewart.  She married Otis N. McClanahan in either 1949 or 1950.  They were married until Otis passed away in 1981.  Lela worked for 25 years at Neiman Marcus. 

Lela is preceded in death by her parents, Lula Ann Tabor and William Stewart, all 8 of her siblings, and her daughters and sons in law Lula Florine Phillips, George Phillips, and Donna Sutter.  She is survived by her grand children/spouses Linda and James Hutchens, Lanna and Samuel Abbot, Della and JD Lamb, Lulagene Dhungana and John Jason, John and Rachel Phillips and Justin Phillips.  She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren. 

Lela Mae McClanahan touched many lives and will be dearly missed.
