Linda Carolyn Chester

Linda Carolyn Chester, 76, of Seagoville, TX passed away on September 27, 2024, in Dallas, TX. Linda was born on August 4, 1948, to Wallace and Lavona Merry in Concordia, KS. She grew up in Kansas, graduating from Delphos High School in 1966. On June 12, 1967, she married Ken Chester, and they spent a loving 57 years together. Linda worked several customer relations jobs in restaurants, jewelry stores and other retail establishments; but most of her time was spent with her family. She took care of her husband and raised two daughters. Linda loved to sew and to cook, especially for numerous people at various gatherings. She also enjoyed babysitting her grandchildren and numerous other non-family members. Ken and Linda took several trips to Hawaii, which was one of their best memories. Linda was a beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Sister. Her parents, Wallace and Lavona, preceded her in death. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Ken, daughters: Michelle Chester and Kristi Stefka, 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, siblings: Jayne, Debbie, Jerry, Gerry, Dawnie, Rick, Rhonda and Sherry; numerous extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.

Plans are being made for a Celebration of Life to be held in Delphos, Kansas. The family will provide details as they become available.
