Louise Hazelip

Robert Louise Hazelip 76, of Scurry, Texas passed on Sunday, April 17, 2022, surrounded by her beloved family and husband.

Louise was born to, the late Buford Lewis & Annie M. Dicus in Waco, Texas on February 12, 1946.

After graduating from Frankston High School in Frankston, Texas in 1964, Louise went on to receive her degree from Nixon Business College in Palestine, Texas. She worked for North Texas Salvage Pool in Grand Prairie and spent 10 years with Bealls Department Store in Jacksonville, Texas. After 30 years in the workforce, Louise retired in 2008 from Jimmy Tucker-State Farm Insurance.

In October of 1984, Louise married Danny Hazelip in Mabank, Texas. Together they shared nearly four decades of marriage together, in Scurry, Texas. Louise's legacy is deeply rooted in the genuine love she bestowed on the lives of others, devotion to family and friends, but most importantly her faith in Jesus Christ our Lord & Savior.

Louise is survived by husband, Danny Hazelip; 3 sons, Eric Gwen Dowling and wife, April, of Jacksonville, TX, Phillip Hazelip and wife, Raine, of Denton TX, Danial Hazelip and wife, Melissa, of Midlothian, TX; brother, A.L. Dicus; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces of nephews.
