Nayeli Alexia Herrera

Nayeli Alexia Herrera, a cherished soul, was born on October 1, 2024, and left this world far too soon on January 11, 2025. Though her time with us was brief, Nayeli’s life was filled with boundless love and joy, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of her family and community.

She was the beloved daughter of Cristian Herrera and Jocelyn Galvan, who embraced her with all the warmth and affection a parent can give. Nayeli's spirit will live on through her adoring sisters, Madalyn and Anahi Herrera, who treasured their little sister and will always remember the laughter and innocence she brought into their lives.

Nayeli is survived by her maternal grandparents, Miriam Galvin and Miguel Azua, who will forever hold her memory dear in their hearts, and her paternal grandparents, Bernarda Escobedo and Jose Herrera, who loved her deeply. Her life was surrounded by the support and love of several aunts, uncles, and cousins, who all admired her gentle nature and brightened by her mere presence.

Friends and family are invited to gather in remembrance of Nayeli. A visitation will take place on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Parker - Ashworth Funeral Home in Kaufman, Texas. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at 9:30 AM at St. Ann Catholic Church in Kaufman, Texas, celebrating the beautiful and fleeting life she lived. Afterward, there will be an interment service at Kaufman Cemetery, where we will lay her to rest at 10:45 AM, enveloped in the love of those she leaves behind.

Nayeli Alexia Herrera may have spent only a short time with us, but her memory will remain woven into the fabric of her family’s life forever. She will be profoundly missed, but her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
