Richard Lee Neal

Richard Lee Neal, 74, of Combine, TX passed away on April 18, 2019 in Kaufman, TX. Richard was born on April 6, 1945 in Camp Rucker, AL to Avon Leroy and Virginia Neal. Richard joined the Army in 1964 and had 3 tours in the Vietnam War. He was stationed at Fort Sill, OK where he married Beatrice Sue Neal on February 22, 1973 and spent 46 years together. The family was stationed in Germany at times during his tenure until he retired from the Army in 1986. After retirement they moved to the Dallas area in 1986 and made it their home. Richard loved to fish, go camping and hang out with his grandchildren. He had a very unique sense of humor. His parents, son Doyle Daniels and favorite dog Pocket preceded him in death. Those left to cherish his memory are: his wife Beatrice; children: Adam Daniels of Fresno, CA, Celia Sherrin and husband Earl of Grand Prairie, TX, Cindy Larkin and husband Peter of Cape Canaveral, FL and Richard Neal and wife Jessica of East Hampton, NY; nephew Otis Stan Hughes and wife Ania; 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; numerous extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
