Ronald William Grady

It’s with deepest sadness to announce that our beloved Husband and Father, Ronald William Grady passed away on Friday, May 10, 2024, at 9:00am.  Ron was born on May 16^th, 1940, in Hillburn, NY to Mother Alma Sisco and Father Thomas Grady.   He had 3 brothers Tommy, John, and Barry and 1 sister Joan.  Ron met his wife Retha Burger for the first time when he was 15 and she was 14 where they attended school together in Penn Yann, NY.  They were married on August 7, 1958, for a total of 65 years.  Ron worked as a Union Carpenter for 55 years and had a wonderful sense of humor and had a great smile.  Ron and Retha had 5 children: 1 son Ronnie, 4 daughter Kelly, Tracy, Rethajo, and Mary, 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and Moo Moo his loving dog.  Ron and Retha started studying the truth in 1969 and both were baptized on May 9, 1970, in Auburn, NY in the Jehovah Witness Organization where Ron became a Ministerial Servant and then an Elder.  Ron believed with all his heart about the future promises that death will be no more Rev. 21:4 and John 5:28-29.  Those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out and the righteous will possess the earth.  Psalm 37:29   Ron had the privilege of saying the prayer for the 2024 Memorial over the Bread.  In Closing, Ron, and Retha, would say every night: I’ll see you in the morning.
