Ronald Lee Rinks

Ronald Lee Rinks, age 66, of Terrell, Texas, passed away unexpectedly, on Friday, December 2, 2022, in Dallas, Texas.

Ron was born on December 10, 1955, in Terrell, Texas to his father, the late Howard Lee Rinks and his mother, Ruby Alberta Killian Smith. He was married to his wife, Betty Jo on September 15, 2000, in Ola, Texas. Ron was an electrician for the Dallas ISD for 37 years.

In addition to his wife Betty Jo and his mother, Ruby Alberta, those left to cherish his memories are son, Tony Jack Armstrong (spouse – Kristi) of Kaufman, Texas; son, Kris Rinks (spouse – Lacy) of Quitman, Texas; daughter, Amber Huff (spouse – Brittney) of Terrell, Texas; son, Joseph Rinks (spouse – Candace) of Carrolton, Texas; daughter, Rebecca Ketterman (spouse – Josh) of Kaufman, Texas; daughter, Callie Rinks Morgan (fiancé – John) of Terrell, Texas; and his sister, Belinda Wright (spouse – Charlie) of Wills Point, Texas. Nine grandchildren and three nieces also remain to cherish Ron’s memory.

In addition to his father, Howard, Ron was preceded in death by his stepdad, Douglas Smith.

Friends are cordially invited to gather with the family and share memories of Ron during a visitation on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, from 11:00 to 1:00 pm at the Parker-Ashworth Funeral Home Chapel in Kaufman. A funeral service to celebrate Ron’s life will follow at 1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.
