Saturnino Escobedo, 99, of Kaufman, TX went to be with the Lord on March 20, 2020 at home surrounded by family. Saturnino was born on November 29, 1920 to Atanacio Escobedo and Altagracia Perez in Zacatecas, Mexico. As a younger man, Nino was an agricultural, rancher and farmhand in Zacatecas, Mexico where he resided with his 3 sisters and 2 brothers and his parents. At 22, he married his Beloved wife, Maria Santos Sandoval. Soon, after their marriage, they began to grow their family which included 8 girls and 3 boys. They lost their third daughter, Engracia, at only months old. In 2008, they lost their daughter Anita due to an enlargement of her heart. They moved to the states in 1996 where they lived in California and then moved to Texas along with some of their children. His wife passed in 2012 due to lung cancer. Papa Nino has many many children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and even great-great grandchildren who will keep holding onto his legacy. His parents, his wife, daugthers: Anita Renteria and Engracia Escobedo; and numerous siblings preceded him in death. Those left to cherish his memory are sons: Fidel Escobedo and wife Lorena of Kaufman, TX, Saturnino Escobedo and wife Rosario of Kaufman, TX and Efrain Escobedo of Zacates, Mexico; daughters: Alicia Morales of Kaufman, Otilia Escobedo of Kaufman, Leticia Escobedo and husband Raul Revilla of Kaufman, Maria Blanco and husband Theodore of Coahuilla, Mexico, Maria De Luz Escobedo of Zacatecas, Mexico and Elena Escobedo of Mexico; grandchildren: Victor, Jesus, Efren, Elias, Javier, Amparo, Dora, Angelica, Claudia, Norma, Idelfonso, Efrain, David, Azusena, Lupe, Lupita, Carlos, Lilia, Fransisco, Fernando, Gustavo, Leobardo, Filiberto, Jorge, Romelia, Araceli, Teodoro, Gumaro, Ermelinda, Berta, Eucebio, Pablo, Gregorio, Cipriana, Pamfila, Ernestina, Eduardo, Marcelino, Ariana, Brenda, Fabian, Edgar, Roberto, Lucero, Milka, Viviana, Danile, Josue, Issac, Emmanuel, Evelyn, Adan, Lisa, Alondra, Mayra, Mariel, Fidel, Carlos, Joel and Lizbeth; great grandchildren: Junior, Giovanni, Camilla, Irvin, Jesus, Alex, Laura, Oscar, Junior, Tabitha, Endrique, Cecilia, Brandon, Mayssa, Junior, Martin, Alexa, Vanessa, Edwin, Junior, Jayro, Angie, Karla, Carlos, Sergio, Kayla, Nicholas, Issac, Valerie, Aletia, Daisy, Stephanie, Naydien, Eric, Daniel, Diana, Jason, Mark, Julian, Edgar, Bianca, Simon, Jayden, Melina, Gisselle, Mateo, Fernando, Eliana, Austin, David, Dante, Luis, Brian, Katlyn, Luna, Gael, Gianna, Christian, Alyana, Micah, Isaiah, Evan, Lizeth, Ruby and Jane; great-great grandchildren: Rodrigo, Santiago, Melanie, Aniyah, Landon and Lia; and numerous extended family and friends who will miss him dearly. Due to current conditions specified by the CDC, funeral home staff will allow 50 people at one time in the building for the Gathering.
