Thomas Robert Mason

Thomas Robert Mason, 70, of Kaufman, TX passed away on October 22, 2020 at home. Thomas was born on March 5, 1950 to Zack Ellis and Mary Francis Mason in Waco, TX. He went to high school in Dallas and graduated from Bryan Adams High School. He served as a police officer for the Dallas County Sheriffs' department and Richardson Police Department. He owned and operated Dalco Exterminating and fully retired in 2014. He has spent the last 25 years with Marilyn Meazle Mason, and they married on March 2, 2020. Thomas loved setting up petting zoos and pony rides in town fairs, flea markets and birthdays and did so for the last 21 years. His parents and brothers: David Mason and Paul Mason preceded him in death. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Marilyn of Kaufman, TX, son Mark Mason and wife Casey of Era, TX, daughter Melanie Shannon and husband Danny of Royce City, TX, grandchild Trevor Wagley, brother Dean Mason and wife Maria of San Antonio, TX and sister Camille of Hawaii, numerous extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
