Tommy Jack Knowles, 70, of Kaufman, TX, was called home to the Lord on September 18, 2023. Tommy was born April 2, 1953 to Billy Jack and Diane Scott Knowles in Kaufman. Tommy grew up and lived in Kaufman, his entire life. Tommy started working as a young teen at Jack Adams gulf station where he met the love of his life. Tommy worked several other jobs as a young man before he started welding for falcon steel. Tommy would go on to pursue his career in the water department for the city of Kaufman until his retirement. He was a hard worker and worked all these jobs along with helping his stepfather on the family farm as a young boy. He continued to help his sons with there cattle operation until he passed. He was a lifetime, volunteer fire fighter. Tommy never met a stranger, always polite respectful and eager to help anyone in need. Tommy Jack enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, riding horses, working cattle and rodeos; but nothing brought him more joy than to be surrounded by family, spending time with his boys, grandkids, nieces, nephews and cousins. They were his joy in life. Tommy is preceded in death by his parents, Billy Jack and Diane Scott Knowles his stepparents, Thomas Jack Cheely and Mary Ann Knowles. Those left to cherish his memories include his wife, Sandra Powell Knowles, his sons, Michael and wife Amy, Bradley and wife Kelly, and Justin and wife Megan, his grandkids, Hunter Knowles, Daniel Gore, Tanner Martin, Lane Doss, Keller Knowles Grit and King Knowles and granddaughter Alice Knowles, his sister-in-law, Jackie Brown, her husband, Eddie Brown, his nieces Amy and Karen Brown, their kids, Jordan Fuentes, Anthony Martinez, Jeremiah Garcia, Jasmine Brown and Katie Hannah, his brother Rodney Knowles and his wife, Rhonda Knowles his nephews, Jason and Jeremy Knowles his sister Donna Rough, her son, Kevin Rough and his wife Carrie O’Donnell Rough and his cousins, John Lee Perry and Barry Thompson. Tommy has numerous extended family and friends that will miss him dearly
