Wanda Lynn Estes

Wanda Lynn Estes, 75, of Kemp, TX went to be with the Lord on July 16, 2023, at home.  Wanda was born on April 13, 1948, to Lloyd and Estelle Wilson in Kaufman, TX.  Wanda was raised in Kaufman, graduating from Kaufman High School in 1966. She went to work for Farmer’s and Merchants Bank in Kaufman for a few years before joining GE and working there till she retired in 2008.  Mema, as her grandkids called her, enjoyed spending time working in the yard, landscaping, gardening, and pulling weeds.  She spent time playing solitaire and going camping with her husband.  Wanda was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church in Kaufman.  She was a beloved Wife, Mother, Mema and Sister.  Her parents, Lloyd and Estelle, brother Wayne Wilson and first husband Larry Brewer preceded her in death.  Those left to cherish her memory include husband Larry Estes, children: Teresa Cundiff and Vickie Hatcher and husband Stacy; grandchildren: Casey Cundiff and wife Haley, Zak Hatcher and Katie Hatcher; great grandchildren: Atleigh Cundiff, Bentley Cundiff, Aubree Cundiff and Breeland Cundiff; brother Bryan Wilson and wife Holly; step-children: Timothy Estes and wife Andrea, Tracy Estes and wife Angela and Julie Estes; step-grandchildren: Megan, Krissie and Hudson; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.
