Wanda Faye Tucker

Wanda Faye Tucker, 67, of Kaufman, TX went to her Heavenly home on September 1, 2021. Wanda was born on August 13, 1954 to Gerald and Dorothy Swint in Galveston, TX. She grew up in Galveston before moving to East Texas and eventually settling in Kaufman. Wanda worked for 30 plus years as a nurse. She spent time quilting, gardening, sewing, and fishing before her struggle with lung disease. Wanda loved her grandkids, the Lord, and the Dallas Cowboys. She was strong in her faith, and was courageous as she fought against cancer. Wanda was a beloved Mother, Nana, Sibling, and Friend. She is preceded in death by her parents, son-Thomas Andrew (Andy) Rains, Jr., sister- Glenda Sundstrom, brother- Walter Swint and grandchild- Hailley Brooke Thomas. Those left to cherish her memory are daughter Joni Thomas and husband Jacob of Kaufman, TX, step-son Kenneth Tucker of LA, step-daughter Jana Chandler and husband Leo of Crossitt, AR, grandchildren: Jake, Logan, Kiersten, Mason, C.T., Mila, Julian, Zack and Zoey; great grandchildren: Ian, Alex and Cade; brothers: Richard Swint and wife Christina and Raymond Swint and wife Joy; sister Linda Hooper; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.
