Hattie Faye Holder passed away on December 11, 2020. Born in Joy, TX in Clay county on July 28, 1927. Married Nathan Holder on December 17, 1949 and they were married just over 62 years. Surviving family members: one daughter, Pam Dunn and her husband Stephen Dunn of Arlington, TX; One son, Steven Kerry Holder and wife Missy Holder of Lindale, TX; also thre grandsons Richard Holder of Benton AR, Seth Holder of Midland, TX and Douglas Dunn of Arlington, TX; as well five granddaughters Danielle Phillips and Kati Adair of Arlington, TX, Whitney Holder of Benton, AR, Jennifer Hendricks of Tyler, TX and Anna Snodgrass of Midland, TX; she had 10 great grandkids; and one brother Tom Hammonds of Arlington, TX. Preceded in death by sisters: Birdie Yelvington of Irving, TX, LaRue Stott of Dallas, TX Lessie Taylor of Ft. Worth, TX, Rhoda Brooks of Cedar Hille, TX, Effie May Brooks of Tucson, AR, Mildred Van Wyk of Ft. Worth, TX; brothers: Vernon Hammonds of Wichita Falls, TX and Jack Hammonds of Henrietta, TX. Hattie worked for twenty years for Republic National Bank in Dallas, TX. She retired in 1982 as an Operations Officer of Republic Money Orders, Inc. She and Nathan moved to Kaufman in 1988. She attended the First United Methodist Church and was in multiple groups. Hattie's hobby was ceramics, whish she delighted in giving away more than she kept. Hattie was truly loved by her family for her unconditional heart, her easy going way, and her way of making you feel like you are the only one one on the earth when you are with her.
