Tommy Murrey

Tommy Joe Murrey, 70, of Kaufman, TX passed away on September 18, 2021 in Kaufman. Tommy was born on May 3, 1951 to John and Betty Jo Murrey in Kaufman. He went to school in Kaufman. Tommy worked as a ranch hand on the Hunt Ranch for 30 years. He loved music, especially Leon Russell and anything else Rock 'n Roll. He was always dressed nice and was known for handing out Peace decals and flowers to the girls. Tommy had a kind heart and enjoyed a good cigar. His parents, John and Betty, and brother John T. Murrey preceded him death. Those left to cherish his memory include: brother Ronnie W. Murrey, sisters: Shirley Lee and husband Thomas and Peggy Campbell and husband Roy; numerous extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
